Architecture and Monochrome

My mind is with the People of brussels. Stay strong, stay proud.

  1. I think this is really intriguing. I loved how you played with the reflection in the water. I *think* it would have been better had you taken it from a distance, covering more of the building in the reflection, but that’s probably just me 🙂

    • Thank you 🙂
Thanks a lot for the critique as well- the issue was that this was the only angle to see the clock tower (it was hidden behind some rows of houses…) but next time I’ll definitely try doing the shot from a little further away 🙂

  2. For me I love the close up view which gives a real sense of abstraction to the image and together with your heartfelt words to the people of Brussels makes this such a meaningful post on such a sad day.

    • Thank you 🙂 It was a quite spontaneous shot – therefor I didn’t have a concept or idea when taking the picture – I like how the results came out and am glad you do as well 😉
Oh dear it was quite shocking… I am at ‘home’ in Germany currently and in Berlin today… Everyone is so tense and alert at all times… It is so different.
