Concrete feelings – MM 36


I always wanted to visit the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, but I never really did- because all this pupils with “I don’t want to be here” written on their faces just look that disgusting according to the huge guilt and sadness this monument expresses…

This field of concrete tombstones is really impressive, I wandered through this whole thing and never felt o uncomfortable… In the middle there is no real light- you wander up and down hills and totally loose sense of where you are… The straight lines give back bit of orientation but after turning a few times I was clearly surprised of where I came out of this monument…

Broken tombstones marking a broken generation… This clearly asked for monochrome…
